It’s been a great privilege to foster some of our children as there is no greater satisfaction than to observe the children comfortably integrate into society with confidence to compete with other well to do children. We have many success stories to be proud of, but one worth particular mention is the story of Egbuna Obih and Ifeanyi Obih, both twin children born with disabilities of not being able to hear or speak (deaf and dumb).
Egbuna and Ifeanyi were taken up by the Sponsor A Child Program in February 2012 at the age of six years.
Fostered under the care of The School of the Deaf and Dumb in Nnewi, Nigeria with sponsorship of financial resources from The Hoppers Child Foundation, both children have grown to acquire much needed skills in writing, reading, craft production and internet awareness.

Egbuna and Ifeanyi are now 12 years of age, and without the tutorage afforded by The Hoppers Child Foundation, they would not be equipped with the skills required to independently propel themselves forward in society.

Another inspiring story is that of Tope Akinwonjo who is an orphan in Ogun State.
Through provisions contributed and shelter provided from the Hoppers Child Foundation, Tope has a roof over his head and a community he calls his family.
The ATUNDA OLU school where Tope resides has been the difference between hopelessness and possibilities.
For us at the Hoppers Child Foundation, we choose possibilities and are proud to be able to provide such hopeful opportunities for Tope and all our young children.

Our Sponsor a Child Program is a powerful platform to fund and support children in need. Our children are not faceless and indeed for Sponsors who choose to be introduced to their Children, we provide the necessary medium to facilitate.
Overall in all cases, we endeavor to provide periodic updates on the growth and welfare of our sponsored children.
